June, July & August
Winters
are usually mild to warm, which calls for light clothing
in the middle of the day. As it can become cold at night
and in the early morning, a warm sweater and jacket should
be brought along. Weather conditions at the coast can be
quite cold and windy, for which warm clothing, including
a windbreaker, are necessary.

Cotton
clothing, which is cooler than synthetic clothing, is recommended
for the hot tropical summers and can be bought at shops
in Windhoek which specialise in lightweight safari garments.

lenses, we recommend that you bring along a pair of
glasses in case you get irritation from the dust.)

Camera and film/batteries (Bring plenty of film as it is
expensive in Africa and often unobtainable. We recommend
Fuji 50-200 ASA. A dust proof camera bag is highly
recommended.)
Eye glasses and repair kit
Sun glasses (Good quality sunglasses, UV protected and preferably
polarised. Tinted fashion glasses are not much good in harsh
light, and can damage your eyes.)
