"Cape Town was our obvious choice for the wedding as many of friends and family would able to make it, and it would be combined with a fantastic summer holiday in the Cape.
The idea of having a wedding planner appealed to both of us, as we are both very particular people and felt our ideas needed to be filtered by a professional. After our initial dealings with Aleit, we were impressed by the honesty and professional service that he sets out to achieve. Aleit motivates and pushes for the best from all concerned with the arrangements.
All the hard work paid off in the end, and it was the best day of our lives together. There were 120 guests, 48 from Ireland and the balance from Cape Town, London and Hawaii. It was the fastest and most fun filled day we have ever had and a fairytale wedding some only dream of - the church service was was wonderful, the weather superb, the Bay Hotel where we had our reception was outstanding (food, staff, venue and understanding).
Our honeymoon suite had been filled with white roses, carnations and petals of all sorts. Champagne and chocolate cake had been organized by friends who couldn't make the trip.
Our subsequent honeymoon safari was a breathtaking and remarkable trip of Southern Africa - Victoria Falls, Botswana and the Okavango Delta. Sundowners with lions in sight and afternoon tea on the lawn, was of another world. Sunken Baths when you arrived from the game drives and moonlight dinners overlooking the plains. Hyenas and elephants walking by while we burnt the midnight embers with fellow travellers, eating sumptuous food and sipping velvety wines of the Cape recounting and reliving the fairytale of the week before.
Chobe Chilwero and Chief's Camp were both outstanding destinations and perfect for honeymooners.
The whole affair was the most wonderful challenge to us all. Many heartfelt thanks to everybody involved. It has been a true pleasure dealing with you all. Thank you is not enough."
