Situated in the centre of the Okavango Delta. Eagle Island Camp at Xaxaba meaning `island of tall trees` has been noted for its outstanding natural beauty. It is an untouched and remote gem lying on the banks of the Boro Channel consisting of myriad waterways, palm treed islands and infinite flood plains. Magnificent sunsets compliment the game and bird viewing from a sunset cruiser journeying through the Delta or observe the animals from above aboard a fixed~wing aircraft or helicopter. Later, enjoy a delicious candlelight dinner served under the stars.

A shady camp under a canopy of indigenous trees provides a cool retreat from the African sunlight. With terrific views over the idle waters, the camp is luxurious and comfortable. Mostly home to Cape Buffalo, Bushbuck, Red Lechwe, Sitatunga and baboon, it would not be unusual to find an elephant outside your tent!
